       We are fast approaching the Strategic Air & Space Museum’s Indoor Air Show 2015 which will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015! As usual, we will have flying in our Restoration Hangar. We will also have space in our Atrium where groups can display information and host interactive activities. Please let me know if you (and your group) would like to participate in the Air Show by December 19. If your group would like to have a booth, please let me know what type of table, chair, etc. set up that you will need by December 19.

 

       The event will run from 11am-4pm, and we’re looking forward to continuing this event in the winter months!

 

       Also, for those of you with groups that may be flying in the Air Show portion of the event, we will have a meeting in the Museum’s conference room on Wednesday, December 10 at 4pm to discuss air show logistics. 

 

       I will have more information regarding booths and the flying after the beginning of the year.

      I publish Metro Area R/C Flying to make a central web site for all the area R/C clubs, not to replace individual club sites, but to tie all of them together and promote growth and interaction between clubs. The most important service of the web site is to post the Metro Area Schedule. The schedule lists all the events for all the clubs in one location so that R/C flyers can see what events are available in the area and plan ahead. I believe it will also help the area clubs to work out their schedules so that a club event, will not conflict, with another club's event. The next most important service is to provide a Page that has maps to all the events, meetings, dinners and parties. Right after that comes the Newsletter Page which lists club newsletters.
