Lost Plane at Twin City's
Field
Keith, is there someplace you can post this so most of the
modeling world around the area gets it....Thanks for
whatever you do....Jud Bock
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On Weds., about 10:00 A.M., I was flying my Old-timer
Playboy, an electric 100 inch wingspan plane, and took my
eyes off of it for a second after climbing it very high,
shutting the power off, and lost it. I simply turned
around, sat down in a chair that I had moved out near the
runway, and looked back towards where it was, and it was
gone.
My flying partner Dick Behrens was with me and neither of us
could spot it. It was in a soaring mode with the power off,
and I of course did everything on the transmitter to make it
perhaps become visible, with no luck. We looked for it of
course, all around the Casino grounds and in the areas
around there, but with no success. The wind was blowing
from the east very lightly, but as high as it was, it could
have easily flown into the river or further.
I have to believe it is gone forever, but if any of you hear
of a lost plane found, there is a 100 buck reward for
it.....
Thanks.....Jud Bock
