LINOMA at Lincoln

I'd visited with some of you about having one more Lincoln/Omaha

contest here in Lincoln this year, so here it is. Sunday September

30, pilots meeting 10 am. Do we have any Lincoln volunteers to kill

and cook something? If not, we can do the sandwich thing again.

I'm headed out of town for over a week, so wanted to get you the word

before departing. Hope to see you then.

The LINOMA is open to LASS and SWIFT flyers. If other glider guys want to fly they can join one of the clubs on the event day. AMA required.

Location:

I make it at about 40:51:24N x 96:36:15W. That is at 84th and Havelock Ave

at the Lincoln Event Center, east of the building.

Directions: south on 84th street from cornhusker to Havelock ave. East on

Havelock Ave to entrance to east event center entrance. South on entrance

road. East on trail that runs south of the drainage ditch. Depending on the

wind, we fly on the east side of the field along the row of trees on the

east side of the field. The trail is a perimeter road around the field where

they have farm events.

I just sent u a link to Google s. U can see the tree line.

Hope this helps, Larry B

I publish Metro Area R/C Flying to make a central web site for all the area R/C clubs, not to replace individual club sites, but to tie all of them together and promote growth and interaction between clubs. The most important service of the web site is to post the Metro Area Schedule. The schedule lists all the events for all the clubs in one location so that R/C flyers can see what events are available in the area and plan ahead. I believe it will also help the area clubs to work out their schedules so that a club event, will not conflict, with another club's event. The next most important service is to provide a Page that has maps to all the events, meetings, dinners and parties. Right after that comes the Newsletter Page which lists club newsletters. Reading other club newsletters lets members see what others are offering in the area that they are interested in and promotes interaction between clubs.  This is your web site, if you would like to show-off your newest plane, or share an experience, you can E-Mail pictures and articles to me at: MetroRCFlying@Gmail.com  There’s an Email Link on every page.
